All religions survive on myth because the religions are based on the blind belief not truth.+

All religions survive on myth because the religions are based on the belief not truth. The rationalists would be on the more solid ground if they attacked myths of all religions.

Unfortunately, every religion is attacking the other considering them to be a myth. The only way out is to unfold the mystery of the existence.

Many paths, theories, and practices make one confused about which path and practice to use because each one of them claims to get the truth.

Everyone tries this and still one is unable to unfold the mystery. The mystery of the existence becomes a distant dream.

Religious truth is individual truth and it is not universal truth because religion is based on individuality. Spiritual truth is the universal truth.

There is no scope for individuality in the realm of ultimate truth or Brahman. In the realm of ultimate truth or Brahman the form, time, and space are one in essence. The essence is consciousness (Soul), the Self. Thus, consciousness alone is real and eternal and all else is mere illusion.

The scriptures give many advice and remedies and each of them claims to be infallible. It is high time for us to shift our attention from all the theories and practices that are based on the physical self and indulge in self-analysis and discover the facts of his own existence.

Yoga Vasistha:~ "Teachers, interpretations of sacred texts, the force of religious merit--none of these lead to the realization of that Ultimate Truth which is revealed in the clear reflection of the heart, engendered from contact with the good."

The only way to unfold the mystery of the existence is a deeper self -search helps the seeker of the truth to discover and realize the true facts of his own existence through inquiry and reasoning without the help of religion, glorifying Gods and Gurus, scriptural studies or yogic practice.

When the seeker becomes aware of the facts of his own existence and realizes that the sense of ‘I’ is not Self. The sense of ‘I’ is the whole experience of the Waking state or experience of a dream state.

Thus, the seeker realizes that whatever he believed and experienced as reality on the base of a sense of ‘I’ is merely an illusion. Since the formless non-dual substance of the ‘I’ is the Self’ Thus, it is necessary to seek the truth. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

There is nothing to discuss and nothing to argue in Atmic Path, but only to realize, What is truth? and what is untruth.+

There is nothing to discuss and there is nothing to argue in the Atmic path but only to realize ‘What is truth?” and ‘What is untruth?.’ By agreeing and disagreeing ignorance will not vanish.

Sage Sankara:~ VC Let erudite scholars quote all the scripture, let Gods be invoked through sacrifices, let elaborate rituals be performed, let personal Gods be propitiated---yet, without the realization of one‘s identity With the Self, there shall be no liberation for the individual, not even in the lifetimes of a hundred Brahmas put together (verses-6)

Then why waste time discussing, which yields no fruits. The citations from scriptures are not proofs. The ultimate truth has to be proved without the scriptures.

The ultimate truth is the universal truth and it does not belong to any religion. Religion causes diversity in unity, whereas, the ultimate truth brings unity in diversity.

I quote quotations in my blogs and posts to show them as authoritative only after deeper verification to prove the truth and point out that the texts teach the same thing. If I quote them before having demonstrated the truth, then it is scholasticism.

It is not that one should pore over the ancient scriptures. There is no need to study first, and then realize. One has to realize first, then only he will know ‘what is truth’ and ‘what is untruth’. One has to make his discoveries through the process of rational thinking and reasoning.

Self-knowledge cannot be attained by the study of the scriptures and intellectual understanding or by bookish knowledge. Therefore, there is no use in studying the scriptures and other scriptures to acquire non-dual wisdom.

That is why Bhagavan Buddha rejected the scriptures, and even Sage Sankara indicated that the ultimate truth lies beyond religion, the concept of God, and the scriptures.

Sage Sankara himself says: ~ VC 59. The study of the Scriptures is useless so long as the highest Truth is unknown, and it is equally useless when the highest Truth has already been known.

60. The Scriptures, consisting of many words are a dense forest that merely causes the mind to ramble. Hence, men of wisdom should earnestly set about knowing the true nature of the Self.

61. For one who has been bitten by the serpent of Ignorance, the only remedy is the knowledge of Brahman. Of what avail are the Vedas and (other) Scriptures, Mantras (sacred formulae), and medicines to such a one?

Sage Sankara said:~ Neither by the practice of yoga nor philosophy, nor by good works, nor by learning, does liberation come, but only through the realization that Atman and Brahman are one in no other way.

Stick to Sage Sankara’s advice drops what is not needed to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara said:~ Worship as many Gods as you please, but liberation will never come without realizing the Oneness.+

Normally people will not understand what I am driving at because they are seeking something which they can enjoy.

People's ambition is to acquire wealth and enjoy practical life within the practical world. They are looking for an advantage in the world, to take care of their daily life.

Thus, to get what they want in practical life they indulge in the numerous paths of dogmas and rituals prescribed by the Gurudom expecting their daily life to go on comfortably.

The so-called Gurus and yogis focus their ambition on acquiring wealth by making the masses more and more dogmatic-oriented.

No one inquires why they are in this hell. This begging to God and Guru goes on and on. If their wish is fulfilled, they indulge more, and more if the wish is not fulfilled they indulge again and again because of fear of getting cursed by God and Gurus.

Thus, to get rid of this path of begging one has to know the truth of his true existence.

That is why Swami Vivekananda:~ The masses in India cry to sixty million gods and still die like dogs. Where are these Gods? Knowing this, stand up and fight! Not one step back that is the idea. ... Fight it out, whatever comes. Let the stars move from the sphere! Let the whole world stand against us! Death means only a change of garment. What of it? Thus, fight! You gain nothing by becoming cowards. ... Taking a step backward, you do not avoid any misfortune. You have cried to all the Gods in the world. Has misery ceased? The masses in India cry to sixty million Gods and still die like dogs. Where are these Gods? ... The Gods come to help you when you have succeeded. So what is the use? Die game. ... This bending the knee to superstitions, this selling yourself to your own mind does not befit you, my Soul. You are infinite, deathless, and birthless because you are the infinite spirit, it does not befit you to be a slave. ... Arise! Awake! Stand up and fight! Die if you must. There is none to help you. You are the entire world. Who can help you? - Swami Vivekananda (Delivered In San Francisco, on May 28, 1900) -The Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda/Volume 1/Lectures And Discourses/The Gita II

Sage Sankara said:~ Talk as much philosophy as you like, worship as many Gods as you please, observe ceremonies, and sing devotional hymns, but the liberation will never come, even after a hundred aeons, without realizing the Oneness.

Yoga Vasistha says:~ ‘Self’-knowledge or knowledge of truth is not had by resorting to a Guru (preceptor) nor by the study of scripture, nor by good works: it is attained only through inquiry inspired by the company of wise (Gnani). One’s inner light alone is the means, naught else. When this inner light is kept alive, it is not affected by the darkness of inertia.

There is no need to condemn Gurus, but there is a need to highlight how they become an obstacle in realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

Swami Vivekananda said: ~ “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher, but your own Soul.”

The Guru is useless so long as the ultimate truth is unknown, and the Guru is equally useless when the ultimate truth or Brahman has already been known.

A Guru is needed in the religious and the yogic path. There is no need for a Guru to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

As you try to find answers independently, the inner revelation will start and you will be able to move on your own.+

There is nothing to realize other than that the universe in which we exist is created out of a single stuff. That single stuff is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness is real and eternal.

All my blogs and postings are the soul-centric truth. As one goes on reading, all his doubts and confusion will start clearing.

It takes time, to be receptive to Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana because it is the Soulcentric knowledge whereas all accumulated knowledge is egocentric.

I am highlighting all the obstacles in the inner journey and how to overcome these obstacles. All accumulated knowledge is of no use in the path of wisdom.

It is for every seeker, who is on the path of wisdom to realize “What is truth, “and “What is untruth?” to assimilate the Self –Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

My postings are only signposts. The seeker needs to reflect constantly on the subject till the cobwebs of his doubts and confusion get cleared.

It takes time for the seeker to gain the perfect understanding of ‘what is truth’ and ‘’what is untruth’. It takes time for the Soul, the Self to wake up from the sleep of ignorance, and it takes time for one to realize the truth, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space.

The inner Sage will guide you. Your sincerity and seriousness lead you to the inner core.

As you keep reading the old posts and also the new posts you will find answers for all your doubts and confusion.

As you try to find answers independently, the inner revelation will start and you will be able to move on your own. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

People who think, the 'I' in everyone and everything is the Self, without realizing the Self is not ‘I’.

People who think, the 'I' in everyone and everything is the Self, without realizing the Self is not ‘I’.

The ‘I’ not within you, but you exist within the ‘I’. The ‘I’ is present in the form of the world in which you exist.

The ‘I’ disappears as deep sleep, so what is the use of being attached to it? It is impermanent and illusory because ‘I’ is physical awareness.

Physical awareness is not Self-awareness. Atmic - awareness is Self-awareness.

It is erroneous to identify the Soul, the Self as 'I' or 'I AM' because the Soul the Self is not 'I' or I AM’. The Soul the Self, is the witness of the 'I'.

To understand the false nature of the ‘I’, Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is necessary.

The Self is not ‘I’, but the Self is the Soul which is the witness of the ‘I’. Holding the ‘I as the 'Self' leads to hallucination based on the imagination.

What is the use of saying ‘I AM THAT’ without knowing what the ‘Self’ is in actuality?

Without knowing the truth of the Self, without realizing the truth of the world in which you exist it is impossible to realize the truth beyond the form, time, and space. By a mere utterance of the word ‘I AM THAT', the truth will not be revealed.

Deeper self-search reveals the fact that the Self is not you, but the ‘Self’ is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

If the ‘Self’ is not you then what is the use of you saying ‘I AM THIS ‘or 'I AM THAT' because you are the false self within the dualistic illusion.:~Santthosh Kumaar

If you are the seeker of truth you must know religion is not Spirituality or Adyathma.+

If you are the seeker of truth you must know religion is not Spirituality or Adyathma. Spirituality or Adyathma has nothing to do with religion and the religious idea of God. Spirituality is to realize the ultimate truth of Brahman or God in truth.

Sage Sankara said:~ Talk as much philosophy as you like, worship as many gods as you please, observe ceremonies, and sing devotional hymns, but liberation will never come, even after a hundred aeons, without realizing the Oneness.
There are three kinds of aspirants: ~
1. The ordinary ones who desire the transitory heaven and other pleasures obtained as a result of ritual sacrifices follow religion.
2. Middling intellect who desire peace and well-being follow a yogic path or mediation.
3. The more advanced seeker who seeks to know the ultimate truth follows the Atmic path. The Atmic path with its emphasis on the Advaitic wisdom is meant for those who wish to go beyond form, time, and space.
Only through deeper self-search do beginners and intermediates gradually become aware of ‘what is what’.

Only after they have realized the fact that the ‘Self’ is not ‘I’ but the ‘Self’ is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness, they are ready for the inner journey towards Advaitic reality, which is beyond the form, time and space.

Upanishad: ~ “They alone in this world are endowed with the highest wisdom who are firm in their conviction of the sameness and birthlessness of Atman. The ordinary man does not understand their way. (Chapter IV — Alatasanti Prakarana 95-P-188 in Upanishads by Nikilanada)

If you are seeking truth you have to know the ‘Self’ is not you but the ‘Self’ is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Sage Sankara says the world is an illusion; it includes birth, life, and death, which happens within the world. Thus, the seeker's main aim is to mentally trace the formless substance of the illusion, which is also the witness of the illusion.

Sage Sankara, in Bhaja Govindam, says: ~ (Jnana Viheena Sarva Mathena Bajathi na Muktim janma Shatena) - One without knowledge does not obtain liberation even in a hundred births, no matter which religious faith he follows.

Thus, it proves that religion is not the means to ‘Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is universal knowledge meant for humanity. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana does not belong to any religion.:~Santthosh Kumaar

Advaitic Wisdom of Sage Sankara liberates the Soul, the Self’ from the cage of ignorance.+

Advaitic Wisdom of Sage Sankara liberates the Soul, the Self’ from the cage of ignorance. Advaitic truth is the truth of the whole, not the part.

In reality, there is nothing exists other than consciousness. Only in ignorance, there is diversity.

All the three states are the product of the ignorance. In the state of ignorance, one thinks that his body as the body, the ego is the ego the world in which he exists as the world.
In ignorance, one has the urge to search for the truth of the existence. When the waking entity (you) indulges in deeper self-search and becomes aware that, the Self is neither the waking entity nor the Self’ is dream entity, but the Self is the Soul, the cause of of the three states.

The Soul, the Self is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness alone is real and the three states are merely an illusion created out of consciousness. In Advaitic reality, there is no second thing that exists other than consciousness

The waking state is created out of consciousness.

The dream state is created out of consciousness.

In deep sleep, consciousness prevails without the f waking or dream states

The three states cease to exist without consciousness. When there is no ignorance, then there is neither waking nor dream nor deep sleep, the Advaita is the nondual true nature of consciousness.

The waking experience is the state of ignorance because it is the product of ignorance.

We are discussing about consciousness within the waking experience because we are unaware that the waking experience itself’ an illusion. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
