There is no need to study the philosophies of Berkeley, Kant, Hume, and other Western and Eastern philosophers.+

Science may give the scientific answers, religion the religious answers, and the yogi will give yogic answers but in pursuit of truth the seeker absorbs all views and he rejects them if they are based on the false self and illusion.

Advaita is basically a denial; it is literally the negation of the Dvaita. That means whatever remains by negating the universe by realizing the universe is created out of single clay and that clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, the hidden truth by dvaita uncovered. Consciousness is the cause of the universe and it, itself is uncaused.

Thus, the path of wisdom is the only means. Then it is no use going roundabout way, trace the Brahman which is the formless substance and the witness of the universe (mind). By tracing the source of the mind, or the universe one will be able to realize the Brahman.

That is why Sage Sankara said:~ Talk as much philosophy as you like, worship as many Gods as you please, observe ceremonies, and sing devotional hymns, but liberation will never come, even after a hundred aeons, without realizing the Oneness.

Sage Sankara says: ~ “What is accepted without a proper inquiry will not lead to the final Goal”. (Commentary on Vedanta Sutra)

Nothing has to be accepted as truth without deeper verification.

Sage Sankara says: ~VC-162- There is no liberation for a person of mere book-knowledge, howsoever well-read in the philosophy of Vedanta, so long as one does not give up the false identification with the body, sense-organs, etc., which are unreal.

Sage Sankara says:~ VC-47 All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the not-Self.

Self-knowledge or Brahma knowledge is the end of all egocentric knowledge. Egocentric knowledge is dualistic knowledge, whereas Self-knowledge is Soulcentric knowledge.

Advaitic wisdom has nothing to do with orthodox Advaita, which is dualistic. Orthodox Advaita is a sect, which blindly accepts and follows dogmas and superstitions.

Sage Sankara himself had often said that his philosophy was based on Shruti, or revealed scripture. This may be because Sage Sankara addressed the ordinary man, who finds security in the idea of causality and thus, in the idea of God—and Revelation is indispensable to prove the latter. He believed that those of superior intelligence, have no need for this idea of divine causality, and can, therefore, dispense with Shruti and arrive at the truth of Non-Dualism by pure reason.

Remember:~

Sage Sankara is the only sage who has final authority on the Advaitic truth. The Advaitic truth is rational truth and scientific truth without dogma

Modern science is the dualistic wisdom that is capable of unfolding only the mystery of objects contained within the universe but the Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom unfolded the mystery hidden by the universe by declaring the Atman is Brahman and the universe is merely an illusion created out of Brahman. And everything is nothing but Brahman.

It means the Soul, the Spirit, or consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman.

The universe is merely an illusion created out of the Soul, the Spirit, or consciousness.

Thus everything is nothing but the Soul, the Spirit, or consciousness, which is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

Consciousness in you and consciousness in the whole universe are one and the same. Those who realize this truth find unity in diversity in their understanding and cross the ocean of ignorance.

Consciousness is the cause of the three states and it, itself is uncaused.

From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, the three states are merely an illusion created out of the Soul itself.

Science deals only with immediate causes, not the ultimate cause. Such a process is on the physical plane, good for worldly life.

Advaitic wisdom does not begin with ultimate truth just by holding some philosophical declaration as truth, the truth has to be proved, not assumed.

Remember:~

People who take philosophies for granted are mere scholars who have mastered philosophy without verifying the validity and parroting their philosophical knowledge, not the truth.

People think philosophical mastery is wisdom but it is merely played of words. Philosophical knowledge is not a means to nondual wisdom.

The seeker has to mentally grasp the Soul, the ‘Self’ or “consciousness” which is beyond the reach of words and thought, and it is the formless substance and witness of all the three states.

The means to the attainment of Self-knowledge is ~ discrimination between things permanent [real/ non-dual] and impermanent [unreal/duality], and the urge for spiritual freedom.

They alone in this world are endowed with the highest wisdom and are firm in their conviction of the sameness and birthlessness of the Self/Spirit. The people who are not sharp and receptive do not understand their way

The intricate maze of the philosophy of different schools claims to clarify matters and reveal the Truth, but in fact, they create more confusion where no confusion exists.

To understand anything there is a need for perfect understanding and assimilation of ultimate truth or Brahman. Why worry about the physical body, ego, logic creation, creator, saints, and sages, and the world, which are part and parcel of the illusion.

All conceptual divisions were invented by teachers of philosophy by their excessive analysis on the dualistic perspective. All these dualistic concepts lead to more and more doubts and confusion. First, they create confusion and then explain spinning the yarn of their imagination.

Fortunate is the seeker who does not lose himself in the labyrinths of philosophy but investigates the source from which the universe rises and subsides. [

They think and assume or speculate and come to a logical conclusion from the dualistic perspective. Dualistic knowledge is intellectual knowledge based on the ego. Therefore, intellectuality is egocentric.

Egocentricity is the greatest obstacle in grasping the non-dualistic truth hidden by the dualistic illusion or Maya.

Remember:~

There is no need to study the philosophies of Berkeley, Kant, Hume, and other Western and Eastern philosophers; they are not the means to acquire Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

They are in fact an obstacle in the pursuit of truth because they are based on the dualistic perspective. There is no necessity to study the philosophy of any great thinkers to ensure firm realization.

Philosophical Authoritarianism merely assumes as true what another says, but what has yet to be proved.

Many Gurus will teach “Who am ‘I’? but none have deeply analyzed it scientifically, and none can prove it.

Rational proof is needed in pursuit of truth so that one can arrive at knowing truth i.e. Wisdom; theirs is mere dogma, parrotism, repetition of what they read in scripture, or accumulated knowledge from different sources.

The philosophical argument leads nowhere. If a philosopher says the ’Self’ is formless “another will reply, "No, Self has a form! If one says "his adopted philosophy has a higher value than all other philosophy” another will say, "No, that is lower and there are many philosophies higher than that." It is impossible to get anywhere with such talk because both sides are merely assuming and imagining.

There is no need for any philosophy to verify the truth of the Self. All that is intellectual wealth, is useful in explaining doubts and difficulties if others raise them if he, himself encounters them in the course of thinking. But to attain realization, all that is not necessary.

The seeker of truth should not hold any philosophy as a yardstick. One needs fresh water to drink, but he does not require all the water of the whole lake to quench his thirst for truth. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

People’s ‘I KNOW’ attitude is blocking their realization. Their scriptural mastery is making them more egoic and stubborn.+

People’s ‘I KNOW’ attitude is blocking their realization. Their scriptural mastery is making them more egoic and stubborn.
Without humility and patience, they are unfit to receive Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. They hold some guru or yogi as holy and worship them as God.
People are unaware of the fact that worshiping the human form as God is barred by Vedas because the human form belongs to the dualistic illusion.
Nothing has to be accepted as God other than the Athma. Athma is the real God all else is an illusion. Holding anything of the illusion as holy and sacred blocks the realization of the Self.
The Guru is useless so long as the ultimate truth is unknown, and the Guru is equally useless when the ultimate truth or Brahman has already been known. A Guru is needed in the religious and the yogic path. There is no need for a Guru to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
Sage Sankara: ~ "Though I wear these robes of a sanyasin, it is only for the sake of bread." (Select Works of Sage Sri, Sankara" also his commentary on Brihad)
Thus, the above passage proves that all those who wear the sanyasin robes are wearing them for the sake of bread belong to the religion; they have nothing to do with Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
There is no need to criticize and condemn the religious Gurus, yogis, and swamis because they are needed for the welfare of the ignorant masses in the dualistic world.
Sage Sankara in Viveka Chudamani (2), states that the Knower of the Atman (i.e., a Gnani) "bears no outward mark of a holy man" (Stanza 539). It means the Gurus, Swamis, and Yogis who identify themselves as holy people are not Gnanis. Those who are seeking truth need not follow any Guru or any teaching.
The one who thinks of himself as a Guru and the one who thinks of himself as a chela (disciple) will not be able to acquire Advaitic wisdom or Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana because both of them accepted themselves as the body. And all their understanding, practices, and knowledge are based on the false self (ego or you). Therefore, the Guru–Shisya concept is a great obstacle in the pursuit of truth.
Unless you realize the Self as the Soul, you are all blinded by the dualistic illusion or Maya.
The Guru who pretends himself to be Self-realized and plays with the emotions and sentiments of the seeker is a fraud, not a Gnani.
Until they come out of this holy and sacred business they are not receptive to Advaitic wisdom or Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
Religious path yogic path and all other paths and practices are meant for the ignorant populace who has a firm conviction that the world in which they exist is a reality.
Sages of truth restrained themselves parting the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana to the masses and only a selected few. It was hidden from the people who were not qualified and receptive to it.
Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana was not written down but was imparted orally to the chosen few. Thus, religion was given to the masses, and knowledge of the Spirit was given to only selected few. Thus, we find traces of the knowledge of the spirit in the religious books in the form of parables.
Katha Upanishad says: ~ This Atman is attained by him alone whom It chooses. To such a one Atman reveals Its own form. ( II -23-P-20)
Upanishads: ~ Fools dwelling in darkness, but thinking they wise and erudite, go round and round, by various tortuous paths, like the blind led by the blind. (Upanishads Nikilanada - Ch II-5 P-14)
The Advaitic truth has to be proved not assumed. The gurus of the East and West have not proved the Sage Sankara’s Advaitic truth because their knowledge of Advaita is based on the dualistic perspective.
Seekers of truth have to realize how this practical life within the practical world is unreal. And on ‘what standpoint it is unreal. It is foolish to cling to the unreality because the reality is hidden by the unreality. The people have stuck by the reality of the world and they stop there.
Only when we independently search for the truth without religion, yoga, and its doctrine then we will be able to realize the truth beyond form, time, and space. Unless you exercise your reason (Buddhi) -there is no chance of getting the ultimate truth or Brahman or God.
The Soul, the inner gurus reveal ‘what is real’ and ‘what is unreal” when the seeker is receptive and ready.
Until they drop all their accumulated knowledge their egoic attitude will not allow them to move further, they simply waste time arguing provoking, and trying to snub others. It is better to keep away from those who want to exhibit their accumulated intellectual wealth.
Those who have mastered the scriptures are unaware that their scriptural mastery is of no use in the Atmic path.
Sage Sankara says ~ 58. Loud speech consisting of a shower of words, the skill in expounding the Scriptures, and likewise erudition - these merely bring on a little personal enjoyment to the scholar but are no good for Liberation.
59. The study of the Scriptures is useless so long as the highest Truth is unknown, and it is equally useless when the highest Truth has already been known.
Sage Sankara says Atman is Brahman and everything is Brahman is a scientific declaration not religious or yogic or dogmatic. Sage Sankara and Sage Goudpada are more scientific than anyone else in the world. Since the real Advaitic essence is hidden it cannot be got without the inner (mental) journey.
A Gnani will never force anyone to accept the path of wisdom. He will constantly bring the seeker back to the fact of his inherent perfection and encourage him to seek the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.
A Gnani knows you need nothing, not even him, and is never tired of reminding you. A Gnani continuously shares Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana with like-minded fellow seekers.
Bhagavan Buddha said: ~ Believe nothing because a wise man said it, Believe nothing because it is generally held. Believe nothing because it is written. Believe nothing because it is said to be divine. Believe nothing because someone else said it. But believe only what you, yourself judge to be true.
The Advaitic truth realization is very simple. We make it complicated by mixing diverse theories, different ideologies, religions, and yoga. All our accumulated knowledge is the greatest hindrance in the pursuit of truth.
To realize the Advaitic truth, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space, one must have the courage of Bhagavan Buddha.
Bhagavan Buddha got enlightenment only after dropping the religion, Vedas, and the concept of God. To realize the simple truth there is no need to go from one mountain to another, one Ashram to another, or worship the Godmen or Guru as a God, or convert from one faith to another. The truth is universal. Anyone can realize it if has an intense urge.
There is no second thing that exists other than consciousness. In the world in which we exist, all our thoughts, words, beliefs, and experiences are nothing but consciousness. Realizing consciousness is everything, is truth realization or Self-realization or God-realization.
The Soul, the inner guru to unfold the mystery of the ‘I’.
Bhagavan Buddha: - There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth: not going all the way... and not starting.
The world in which you exist is the dualistic illusion created out of a single stuff. To realize this knowledge of single stuff, there is no need for a Guru, there is no need to study scriptures, there is no need to go to the mountain, there is no need for a guru blessing or grace to get Self-realization.
If you have an intense urge and are ready to drop all your accumulated knowledge and start afresh then you are fit and ready to take this mental journey. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Astrological calculations are based on the birth entity.+

From the standpoint of the Soul the innermost Self, the Astrology, and Planetary positions belong to the dualistic illusion.

The experience of birth, life, death, and the world are within the dualistic illusion. Astrology is not a science but Astronomy is science.

Astrology is based on the birth entity (form). Astrology is a reality within the domain of form, time, and space.

Without form, time, and space there is no astrology. It is impossible to make a horoscope of the unborn Soul, which is the cause of the world in which you exist and it, itself is uncaused.

Astrological calculations are based on the birth entity. The birth entity is the false Self (waking entity or ego) within the false experience (waking) whereas the Soul, the Self is the birthless and deathless because it is the ever-formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

From the standpoint of the birthless and deathless Self ~ the form, time, and space cease to exist. Without form, time, and space the whole cosmos ceases to exist. Thus, the planetary strength does not arise because it is part of the illusion.

Astrology is meant for the ignorant mass, who believes the form, time, and space as a reality.

From the Vedic perspective, all the Astrological remedies or pariharas based on the non-Vedic Gods rituals and worship are nothing but falsehood because the Rig Veda says, May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

On the non-dualistic perspective, the dualistic Astrology has no value. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Like an ornament made from Gold is Gold, that which is born out of consciousness is consciousness.+

A Gnani sees nothing but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness is nothing but God in truth.

In self-awareness, There is neither seer nor seen. In Self-awareness, the Soul remains in its own awareness in the midst of the dualistic illusion or Maya. The Soul is the fullness of consciousness without the division of form, time, and space.

Like an ornament made from Gold is Gold, that which is born out of consciousness is consciousness. Like gold is a permanent thing, in ornaments made of gold, similarly, the mind, which is in the form of the universe is born out of consciousness, is consciousness in its essence.

The Soul is everything and everything is nothing but consciousness. The Soul is infinite the dualistic illusion filled by the infinite.

A Gnani sees consciousness everywhere and everything in the universe, which is the dualistic illusion or Maya.

A Gnani is fully aware that the world in which he exists is nothing but an illusion created out of consciousness.

Advaita is the hidden secret wisdom of the Sages of truth. We contemplate that reality in which everything exists, to which everything belongs, and from which everything has emerged, which the cause of everything is and which everything is.

A Gnani sees only unity in diversity, just like a goldsmith estimating the gold in various items of jewelry sees only gold. When one identifies the Self with the form then only the form, time, and space are present. But when one transcends the form, time, and space the duality never remains as reality. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The ego is the false self within the illusory universe or Maya.+

The ego is present only in waking or dream. The ego is present only when you are present because you are the ego. Without the ego, duality ceases to exist.

The waking or the dream appears as the illusory universe and disappears as the illusory universe. Thus, The waking or dream is impermanent because they appear and disappear. The ego is the false Self within the false experience (waking).

The dream ego, dream body, and dream world are a reality within the dream. The dream becomes unreal when waking takes place.

Similarly, the waking ego, waking body, and waking world are a reality within the waking state but The waking state becomes unreal when Advaitic wisdom dawns.

Advaitic Wisdom dawns when the waking entity (ego) realizes it, itself is not the Self in the midst of waking experience.

Seeking truth from the standpoint of the ego will not help the seeker discover the truth, which is hidden by ignorance.

When the reasoning base is rectified mentally from the form (ego) to formless (Soul) the truth will start unfolding itself. : ~ Santthosh Kumar

There is nothing to realize other than realizing that you and the world in which you exist are created out of consciousness.+

A Gnani is neither anyone’s guru nor anyone’s disciple. A Gnani respects all the Sages of the past and he highlights good points in their teaching he also highlights how their wisdom obstacles, block the realization of the ultimate truth.

A Gnani does not transmit Gnana but he shares the pointers to realize the truth. These pointers help the seekers to realize the truth, which is hidden by ignorance.

There is no need for a guru to know that you and your guru and the world in which you exist are created out of a single stuff and that single stuff is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Knowledge of that single stuff is the Self-knowledge of Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Gnana is given neither from outside nor from another person.

There is no need to follow anyone. There is no need to practice anything. Perfect understanding and assimilation of ‘what is what’, leads to the realization of the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.

Sage Sankara says the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani)

~ then why stick to a Guru who is not a Gnani.

Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to study the Scriptures, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman

~ then why indulge in studying the scriptures.

Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to study philosophy, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman

~then why indulge in studying philosophies.

Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to indulge in rituals, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman

~then why indulge in rituals.

Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to indulge in yoga, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman

~then why indulge in yoga.

Sage Sankara says: ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation, then why you are indulging in other types of meditation.

There is nothing to realize other than realizing that, you and the world in which you exist are created out of a single stuff and that single stuff is the Soul, the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.

Thus, you and the world in which you exist are nothing but consciousness. Thus, by realizing this truth the Soul becomes free from the cage of the illusory form, time, and space. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Merely knowing the truth is not enough to escape from the tangle of illusion. Realize the ultimate truth with a firm conviction.+

Science declares that oxygen combines with hydrogen to give water. And it also declares oxygen is protons or electrons.

Advaitic Sages consider the whole physical existence (universe or mind), to be an illusion, and science and its inventions, which are based on physical existence are limited to physical existence, which is an illusion. The truth is hidden within the physical existence or illusion.

Until the scientist realizes the whole universe is created out of single stuff and that single stuff is the Soul or the consciousness. Thus, consciousness is the ultimate truth.

The science demands physical proof. But the physical proof is part of the illusion. Hence, science cannot go beyond physicality, because the truth cannot be traced in laboratory conditions. Deeper Self -search is required if one wants to push its quest deeply enough.

A deeper self–search reveals the fact that the matter and the Spirit are one in essence. Thus, the matter is Spirit. When the matter is created out of the Spirit then the matter has no value because there is no second thing that exists, other than the Spirit.

Science cuts itself from the witness (Soul or Spirit) and remains aloof from the witnessed (universe or matter). The scientist not only stands aside, outside the field of the witness. It is because the scientist is unaware of the witness, which is apart from the witnessed, and he and his invention are part of the witnessed. Therefore, science cannot cross the threshold of physical existence (form, time, and space). Thus, its inventions are limited to form, time, and space.

Science is based on objects; its invention is based on an object as a subject. Thus modern science can get the truth of the objectified subject. Elimination of the object mentally and realizing the subject then judging the worldview on the base of the pure subject leads to the discovery of ultimate truth.

The feelings impressions and notions are based on the physical Self (ego or the waking entity). The scientific inventions are based on the physical Self.

A deeper self-search reveals the fact that the waking entity (ego) is a false self within the false experience (waking).

Science has begun to admit that the world of the Spirit and the world of matter are not two antipodes... A leading British astronomer, Sir James Jeans, confessed that the scientific conception of the universe in the past was mistaken and that the borderline between the objective world, as it is manifested in nature, and the subjective one, as it expresses itself through the mind, hardly exists. In [a 1934 address at Cornell University], he said: “The Nature we study does not consist so much of something we perceive as of our perceptions, it is not the object ... but the relation itself. There is, in fact, no clear-cut division between the subject and object.” Twenty years earlier, such a statement would have been sheer heresy. Likewise, a search for the Ultimate Reality that we usually call "God," a search along both intellectual and unorthodox lines; need not be regarded as either heresy or sacrilege.

The sun, the moon, the stars, planets shine because of the Soul or the Spirit. The Soul shines and all things else shine as a result. Everything in the universe reflects but that light of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Merely knowing the truth is not enough to escape from the tangle of illusion. One must realize the truth with firm conviction.

The mind is in the form of the universe.

From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self the universe is merely an illusion. The illusion arises from ignorance. Enlightenment comes with detachment from the illusion by realizing the experience of the form, time and space are one in essence.

The conclusion of any scientist has to be: ~

Everything is Spirit (Soul or consciousness), which Sage scientist Sage Sankara declared 1200 years back –everything is Atman(Soul) because Atman present is in the form of consciousness or Spirit.

The science wholly accepts the material world as it presents itself. Non-dualistic or Advaitic wisdom makes one realize that things are not what they seem.

The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness (Spirit), is the root element of the universe.

From consciousness, the universe comes into existence. In consciousness, the universe resides. And into consciousness, the universe is dissolved. Consciousness is the parent of all that is there. Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

Consciousness is the only reality, and the universe too but an illusory manifestation. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Near-death-experience (NDE) has nothing to do with the Soul, the Self, because the Soul, the Self is birthless and deathless.=

All those whose intelligence has been stolen by ignorance believe in the illusory individual experience of birth, life, death, and rebirth and the world as a reality.

A near-death experience (NDE) has nothing to do with the Soul, the Self because the Soul, the Self is unborn and eternal . The Soul, the Self is unborn and eternal because it is ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

When the Self is not the body but the Self is formless Soul then it is foolish to hold, the experience of birth, life, death, rebirth, and the world as a reality. Because it is the body that is born, lives, and dies in the world, which is merely an illusion or Maya.

When you realize the words, thoughts, and world in which you exist are created out of single stuff and that single stuff is consciousness, then you will realize the truth which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space.

When everything is created out of consciousness then there is no second thing that exists, other than consciousness. It takes time to grasp the Advaitic truth. All the obstacles have to be overcome one by one.

Realize with full and firm conviction that: ~ You are not you but consciousness; your body is not the body but consciousness, the world in which you exist is not the world but consciousness.

Everything known, seen, believed, and experienced by you is nothing but consciousness then what else remains, which is not consciousness. There is nothing else to realize other than to realize consciousness alone is, everything else is merely an illusion created out of consciousness.

By realizing everything is consciousness, the Advaitic wisdom dawns. Perfect understanding and assimilation of ‘what is what’ lead to Advaitic awareness.

Without the world, in which you exist God alone exists. When God disappears the world, in which you exist appears. The world, in which you exist disappears God appears. Thus, realize the God to be the Soul.

The Soul is the Self. Thus, the Soul which is present in the form of consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

If you stick to the ultimate truth then the world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of consciousness. If you realize this truth you will live in this world but not of this world. Thus, consciousness alone is real and eternal.

Remember:~

The Advaitic wisdom leads the seeker from darkness to light, from ignorance to wisdom, from unawareness of the ‘Self’ to Self-awareness, from unreality to reality.

Bhagavad Gita: 7: 19:~ "Such a man who has attained true knowledge, the knowledge of Self, the knowledge of Atman, worships ‘Self’ as~ Atman (God) alone exists~ everything is Atman, there exists nothing except Atman. Such a man is extremely rare."

All is consciousness. The whole universe is consciousness. From consciousness, the universe comes. When the universe disappears, consciousness still remains without form, time, and space

The Soul itself is God in truth, the One without a Second:

The Soul is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth. The Soul, God is present in the form of consciousness. Thus, consciousness itself is Brahman or God in truth.

Even the Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

Consciousness, God is Self-evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny God because God is the very essence of the one who denies God. God is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs.

Even Rig Veda: ~ The Atman (Soul) is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?"

Even in the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God) is present in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself’.

The Vedas talk about Brahman (God) which refers to the ultimate truth or ultimate reality or Advaita. Consciousness is the Advaita or the ultimate truth, therefore, consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman. Brahman is Advaita God in truth. : ~Santthosh Kumaa

The nature of the Soul, the Self is like deep sleep (Advaita). In a state of deep sleep, there is no trace of duality.+

You, your experience of the world, your religion, your religious Gods you’re your religious heaven and hell, your paradise, your physical gurus, your sins, your good deeds, your karmas your holy rivers, your sacred mountains are within the universe, which is the dualistic illusion or Maya. The dualistic illusion or Maya is present in the form of the ‘I’.

Only when the ‘I’ appears does the dualistic illusion appear. And when ‘I’ disappears the dualistic illusion disappears.

The ‘I’ hides the ‘Self’. The ‘I’ hides the ‘Self’ which means the dualistic illusion hides the ‘Self, the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

When Sage Sankara says clearly, the universe is not real. He says that Brahman and Atman are one. The ultimate and the Absolute Truth is the Self, which is one though appearing as many in different individuals and things. The individual and things have no reality.

Only the Soul, the Self is Real; the rest, mental and physical are but passing appearances. So, it indicates the universe is unreal because the universe is merely an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Only the Soul is real and ultimate reality because there is no second thing other than the Soul, the Self, which is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

The Soul is not limited to an individual. The individuals are many, but the Soul is one. The individual exists within the universe. The Soul is the cause of the universe and it, itself is uncaused.

The Soul is not within the human body. The universe is created out of a single stuff. That single stuff is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Thus, whatever the universe contains is bound to be an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

In the dream world, the dream people appeared together and disappeared together and disappeared together. Similarly, the waking world and waking people appeared together and disappeared together. Thus dream is created out of a single stuff and that stuff is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. In the same way, the waking experience is also created out of a single stuff. And that single stuff is consciousness. The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness is the cause of the three states and it, itself is uncaused. The many soul theories are religious and yogic fables based on the false self(ego) and false experience (waking).

Knowledge of the single stuff is Self-knowledge of Brahma Gnana or Athma Gnana.

Like an ornament made from gold is Gold, that which is born out of consciousness is consciousness. Like gold is a permanent thing, in ornaments made of gold, similarly, the mind, which is in the form of the universe is born out of consciousness, consciousness in its essence.

Deeper self-search reveals that you are not the Self, the world in which you exist is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, but the consciousness is specifically not an entity or identity or a thing within the world in which you exist. But it is the cause of the world in which you exist and it, itself is uncaused.

The Soul is hidden within the world in which you exist. The nature of the Soul is the formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

Thus, it is necessary to realize the world in which you exist is created out of a single stuff, which is consciousness. Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God. Thus, God alone is real; the world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of consciousness.

Scholars, interpretations of sacred texts, the force of religious merit--none of these lead to the realization of that Ultimate Truth or Brahman. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Athma Gnana is the knowledge of the the Soul, the one and only ‘Self’ of all that exists as an illusion.

All this talk of immortality will crumble into nothingness because he has not known the knowledge of the Soul, which is immortal.

The nature of the Soul, the Self is like deep sleep (Advaita). In deep sleep, there is no trace of duality.

The waking or dream is the world of objects. And the waking and a dream is an object to the Soul, which is the formless subject. Without the knowledge of the formless subject, the object will remain as reality. By becoming aware of the formless subject, the reality of the object ceases to exist as a reality.

The knowledge of the object (body) as the subject is the cause of the ignorance. Thus, it is necessary to examine the nature of the object to realize the fact that the object is not the subject.

The subject is not the form, but it is formless. The knower of the object is the subject, which is the Soul or consciousness. So, the object has no existence without the subject. Therefore, it is erroneous to view and judge, the truth on the base of the object as subject.

Conscious ignorance of all objects (three states) means really the positive knowledge of the Soul, the Self, which pervades everywhere and everything in the object. Consequently, ignorance of the ordinary man in deep sleep is really the knowledge of the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.

One can say about his deep sleep experience only when the waking takes place that is in the state of ignorance.

Ignorance of the mind (universe) in deep sleep is nothing but the knowledge of the Soul, the Self, which is nondual peace.

Thus the experience in deep sleep, if properly understood, is only one; and that is the Soul, which is in the form of consciousness. There is only one there, and hence ignorance of the many is no experience at all

A Gnani knows what he is talking about is not an explanation, what he is talking about is the realization of the truth, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space.

A Gnani shares his joy by sharing his wisdom; he is singing the song about the unsung truth. Remember whenever a Gnani speaks about God in truth it is not blind belief-based God; he knows it, it is his realization. He is talking out of his realization; hence he can be of immense help to the whole humanity.

A Gnani always sees the world in which he exists as the Soul without any division of form, time, and space. And a Gnani watches his own actions as if they were another's. he is never puffed up by the praise or disturbed by blame.

As for Gnani, his individuality is dead. It is merged in the Soul like waves in the ocean. A Gnani living in freedom has gone beyond the dualities of life.

A Gnani is not competing with anyone, he is alike in success and failure and content with whatever comes to him. He is e free, without Selfish attachments; his attention is fixed on the awareness of the Soul.

A Gnani performs all practical duties of the practical world like others and he helps other seekers to get rid of ignorance of their true existence.

The seeker must first realize:

What is the Self?

If something is true, is real, is constant, is a foundation of a nature that is unchanging, this can be called the Self.

The Soul, the Self is the fullness of consciousness without the illusory division of form, time, and space. The Soul is formless, timeless, and spaceless and eternal existence.

People have not penetrated the meaning of the ‘Self’. The meaning is that the ultimate truth is the Self, which is the eternal existence.

You are impermanent because the ‘Self’ is not you but the ‘Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

People have not penetrated the meaning of the ‘Self’. The meaning is that the ultimate truth is the Self, which is the eternal is existence.

You should not hold anything of the dualistic illusion (universe), which is impermanence. The world in which you exist makes you feel as though they are real but ultimately they are merely an illusion created out of the Soul, which is permanent.

You must cultivate to see the permanence (Soul) hidden by the impermanence (universe) as it is.

If you do this, you will be like one who sees a gem in the muddied water among the stones and rocks and waits for the water to settle before he skillfully plucks it out.

It is the same with cultivating the idea of the Soul, the Self hidden by the universe, which is the dualistic illusion or Maya. : ~Santthosh Kumaar
