The Soul, the Self is the principle that holds the whole universe. The universe contains everyone and everything 'known' and 'unknown'.+

Even Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

The world in which you exist is a dualistic illusion created out of the ‘Self’ which is not you but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Whatever you have seen, known, believed, and experienced is within the dualistic illusion. Thus, your existence is bound to an illusion created out of consciousness, which is real and eternal.

Like an ornament made from gold is Gold, that which is born out of consciousness is consciousness. Like gold is a permanent thing, in ornaments made of gold, similarly, the mind, which is in the form of the universe is born out of consciousness, is consciousness in its essence.

All the memories belong to you. The past, present, and future belong to you. The birth, life, and death belong to you but the ‘Self is not you but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

The Soul is birthless and deathless because it is ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence whereas your existence is limited to form, time, and space.

Without the form, time, and space your existence will melt away as the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Why you are saying ‘I AM THIS or ‘I AM' THAT without knowing what Self is in actuality.

What is the duality to the Soul, the Self, which is ever nondual?

~ The Soul is ever nondual because it is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

What is relative?

What is absolute happiness and misery?

~ To the formless Soul, which is ever devoid of thought and activity?

If anything has a meaning it is only in duality. Happiness and sorrow are the nature of duality, which is the mind, their differences, therefore, the illusory on the standpoint of the formless Soul, which is the ultimate reality.

What is an illusion?

What is ignorance?

What are birth, life, and death?

What is this world?

~ What is an attachment and what is detachment to the Soul, the Self, which is ever formless, timeless, and spaceless. The mind (universe) and Soul (Self) are one in essence ultimately.

All argument about consciousness never touches it. The Soul, the Self is the principle that holds the whole universe and the universe contains everyone and everything 'known' and 'unknown'.

The mind rises from the formless Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The ‘I’ rises as the mind. The mind is in the form of the universe.

Thus, ‘I’ is the mind or universe. The universe appears as waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (nonduality).

Holding the ‘I’ limited to the ego is the cause of separation. The ego makes one feel, that he is an individual separate from the world and the world existed prior to him, and he is born in it afterward.

Until one has this conviction, it is very difficult to grasp the nondual truth. Thus, it is necessary to realize the Self is neither the ego nor the world but is the witness of the ego, body, and world together.

The Self is the Soul, the witness of the three states. And the Soul is also the formless substance of the three states, because, without the Soul, the ‘Self’, the three states are non-existent. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
