Sage Sankara’s Advaitic treasure hidden requires mental excavation, the removal of ignorance.+

Sage Sankara’s Advaitic treasure is hidden and requires mental excavation, the removal of ignorance, and finally grasping, but never comes out by merely reading and collecting information.

If you are seeking truth nothing but the truth you must seek the truth independently. If you are sticking up to gurus, yogis, and intellectuals then you are sticking up to ignorance. They do not have the truth which you are seeking for. They have plenty of information to seduce you to remain in ignorance forever.

Without discarding the religiously propagated truth it is impossible to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Sage Sankara says: ~ VC-162- There is no liberation for a person of mere book knowledge, howsoever well-read in the philosophy of Vedanta, so long as one does not give up the false identification with the body, sense organs, etc., which are unreal.

Sage Sankara says: ~ VC-47- All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the not-Self.

Sage Sankara says:~ VC-162- There is no liberation for a person of mere book-knowledge, howsoever well-read in the philosophy of Vedanta, so long as one does not give up the false identification with the body, sense organs, etc., which are unreal.

All your egocentric accumulated cocktail knowledge is not Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana Soulcentric knowledge is not available in the spiritual supermarket.

All accumulated knowledge is mental Garbage is no use in the quest for truth. The seeker has to discard all the accumulated knowledge and start afresh.

A Perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ through deeper thinking and reasoning helps to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

That is why Sage Sankara:~ VC~.61- For one who has been bitten by the serpent of Ignorance, the only remedy is the knowledge of Brahman. Of what avail are the Vedas and (other) Scriptures, Mantras (sacred formulae), and medicines to such a one?

Sage Sankara:~ VC- v6~ Let erudite scholars quote all the scripture, let Gods be invoked through sacrifices, let elaborate rituals be performed, let personal Gods be propitiated---yet, without the realization of one‘s identity With the Self, there shall be no liberation for the individual, not even in the lifetimes of a hundred Brahmas put together

Sage Sankara’ has already declared:~

‘What is the truth?’

~ Atman is Brahman ~ “Atman is the only one ultimate reality.

‘What is untruth?’

~ The universe is an illusion. ~ The universe is false.

Sage Sankara declared this truth centuries back, so why you are struggling to find out the truth.

Sage Sankara: ~ A buried treasure is not uncovered by merely uttering the words: “Come forth.” You must follow the right directions, dig, remove the stones and earth from above it, and then make it your own. In the same way, the pure truth of the Atman, which is buried under Maya and the effects of Maya, can be reached by meditation, contemplation, and other spiritual disciplines but never by perverted arguments.

Sage Sankara goes on to say: ~ “A sickness of not cured by saying the word “medicine.” You must take the medicine. Liberation does not come by merely saying the word “Brahman.” Brahman must be experienced. Until you allow this apparent universe to dissolve from your consciousness until you have realized Brahman, how can you find liberation just by saying the word Brahman? The result is merely noise. Until a man has destroyed his enemies and taken possession of the splendor and wealth of the kingdom, he cannot become a king by simply saying “I am a king.”

Advaita means the Soul, the Self, which is second to none. The Soul, which is present in the form of the Spirit or consciousness, is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

Advaita is the nature of God, the Self. Advaita is God in truth. Advaita is the fullness of consciousness.

Sage Sankara’s wisdom is very much in tune with the essence of Vedas and Upanishad but Advaitic orthodoxy indulges in non-Vedic beliefs of God and non-Vedic rituals and practices. There is no need to condemn the Advaitic orthodoxy because it is a path meant for the ignorant as per Sage Sri, Sankara himself. Do not mix up the two and mess up your quest.

The Soul, the Self, is present in the form of the Spirit or consciousness.

Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to study the Scriptures, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman

~ then why indulge in studying the scriptures.

Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to study philosophy, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman

~then why indulge in studying philosophy.

Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to indulge in rituals, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman

~then why to indulge in rituals.

Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to indulge in yoga, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman

~then why indulge in yoga.

Sage Sankara says:~ the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani)

~ then why stick a Guru who is not a Gnani.

Sage Sankara says: ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false leads to truth realization.

Atman is Brahman. The Atman is the Self is non-dual because there is no second thing that exists other than the Atman. Atman is present in the form of consciousness.

Consciousness is the only true reality, and everything else, which appears as form, time, and space is merely an illusion. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara severely criticized the ritualistic attitude and those who advocated such practices.+

Detachment from the illusory attachment of form, time, and space is impossible without Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Sage Sankara gave religious, ritual, or dogmatic instruction to the populace, but pure wisdom only to the few who could rise to it. Hence, the interpretation of his writings by commentators is often confusing because they mix up the two viewpoints. Thus, they may assert that ritual is a means of realizing Brahman, which is absurd.

One of Sage Sankara’s missions was to wean people away from the ritualistic approach advocated by Mimamsakas and to project wisdom (jnana) as the means of liberation in the light of Upanishad teachings. Sage Sankara criticized severely the ritualistic attitude and those who advocated such practices. However, the texts that combined rituals with wisdom (jnana_karma_samucchaya) more in favor of the Mimamsaka position came into vogue, projecting Sage Sankara as the rallying force of the doctrine.

Mundaka Upanishad:~ The rituals and the sacrifices described in the Vedas deal with lower knowledge. The sages ignored these rituals and went in search of higher knowledge. ... Such rituals are unsafe rafts for crossing the sea of samsara, of birth and death. Doomed to shipwreck are those who try to cross the sea of Samsara on these poor rafts. Ignorant of their own ignorance, yet wise In their own esteem, these deluded men Proud of their vain learning go round and round Like the blind led by the blind.

How can you worship the Absolute? That implies two ~ the worshiper and the worshiped, whereas the Absolute is nondual. One can worship his idea of the Absolute only or realize his unity with it when he can’t worship it as a part.

Religious rites and rigid ceremonies were passed down from one generation to the next as a practice or set customs and traditions and performed automatically with blind faith. Such worship based on the belief of God does not reach God.

Religious rites and ceremonies, yagnas and homa-havans, or any other forms of ritual are meant for the ignorant populace.

Belief in God without knowing God in actuality holds the worshiper more firmly in the grip of ignorance.

All worship, ceremonies, and rituals performed on the base of non-Vedic Gods will not yield any fruits. Deeper self-search reveals that worship, the worship, the worshiper, and the world are merely an illusion created out of consciousness.

Religious rites and ceremonies, yagnas and homa-havans, or any other forms of rituals formal observance has long since set in.

Religious rites and ceremonies, yagnas and homa-havans, or any other forms of ritual are meant for the ignorant populace. In the Atmic path, the seeker has to discard

Sage Sankara says: ~ The scriptures dealing with rituals, and rewards are therefore addressed to an ignorant person.

Sage Sankara:~ (11) As regards the rituals, Sage Sankara says, that the person who performs rituals and aspires for rewards will view himself in terms of the caste into which he is born, his age, the stage of his life, his standing in society, etc. In addition, he is required to perform rituals all through his life. However, the Self has none of those attributes or tags. Hence, the person who superimposes all those attributes on the changeless, eternal Self and identifies the Self with the body is confusing one for the other; and is, therefore, an ignorant person. The scriptures dealing with rituals, rewards, etc. are therefore addressed to an ignorant person. -Adhyasa Bhashya

Sage Sankara:~ (11.1) This ignorance (mistaking the body for Self) brings in its wake a desire for the well-being of the body, aversion for its disease or discomfort, fear of its destruction, and thus a host of miseries(anartha). This anartha is caused by projecting karthvya(“doer” sense) and bhokthavya (object) on the Atman. Sankara calls this adhyasa. The scriptures dealing with rituals, rewards, etc. are, therefore, he says, addressed to an ignorant person. -Adhyasa Bhashya

Sage Sankara:~ (11.2) In short, a person who engages in rituals with the notion “I am an agent, doer, thinker”, according to Sage Sankara, is ignorant, as his behavior implies a distinct, separate doer/agent/knower; and an object that is to be done/achieved/known. That duality is avidya, an error that can be removed by vidya. -Adhyasa Bhashya

Sage Sankara: ~ (12) Sage Sankara affirming his belief in one eternal unchanging reality (Brahman) and the illusion of plurality, drives home the point that Upanishads deal not with rituals but with the knowledge of the Absolute (Brahma vidya) and the Upanishads give us an insight into the essential nature of the Self which is identical with the Absolute, the Brahman. -Adhyasa Bhashya

Sage Sankara: ~ Atman, the Self is verily Brahman (God in truth), being equanimous, quiescent, and by nature absolute Existence, Knowledge, and Bliss. Atman is not the body which is non-existence itself. This is called true Knowledge by the wise.

Arguing with religious believers is fruitless.

Belief in tradition and the scripture as if they were true or factual quite clearly is a delusion, but the payoff for holding such delusions is, for those who hold them, extremely compelling ~ the avoidance of the "wrath of God," the hope of heaven or salvation, or the imagined "end of suffering."

"God" exists because the ‘Self’ exists, not vice versa. When awake to true nature then this is known immediately.

That is why Sage Sankara:~ VC- 61- For one who has been bitten by the serpent of Ignorance, the only remedy is the knowledge of Brahman. Of what avail are the Vedas and (other) Scriptures, Mantras (sacred formulae), and medicines to such a one?

Ignorance is the cause of experiencing the world in which we exist as a reality. When you realize the ‘Self’ is you but the ‘Self ‘is the Soul then you will realize the world in which you exist is an illusion.

Whatever is not happening is happening within the dualistic illusion. All your happiness and sorrow are a reality within the illusion.

Ignorance is the cause of experiencing the illusion as a reality. Thus, eradicating ignorance is necessary to realize the truth hidden by the illusory world in which you exist. And this is possible only through Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

There is no other road to freedom other than Advaitic Gnana. There is no other entrance other than Advaitic Gnana. Ignorance will vanish only when the Advaitic Gnana dawns.

Sage Sankara disagrees with Buddhists who say, there is nothing - a nonentity. Sage Sri, Sankara believes there is some reality, even though things are not what they appear to be. If one knows the truth, he will know what to do to find inspiration for action. The seeker of truth‘s subject is to know what is it that is Real.

Buddhism says that all things are illusory and nothing exists. However, Advaita avers that it is not so. It says that the universe, of course, is illusory, but there is Brahman (consciousness), that exists forming the very substratum of all things (illusion or universe). ~Santthosh Kumaar

Religious moksha is based on the birth entity, whereas spiritual moksha is based on the unborn Soul, the ‘Self’.+

All the orthodox views have to be bifurcated to get the pure essence of Sage, Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom.

The Upanishads say: ~ It is impossible to find and realize the truth via religion and scriptural study.
If Sage Sankara has declared the world is a myth Brahman alone is real then it is the time for everyone to overcome ignorance and realize the truth to realize what Sage Sankara said was the truth or not.
It is time to reform human society free from dogmas and superstition. With nagging orthodox parents trying to impose their orthodox ideas on their children staying in the Self-imposed prison of orthodoxy without realizing they, themselves are on the wrong path and they think they are on the right path to Moksha. The orthodox people live in the prison of dogmas.
Orthodox people expect their clans to follow a certain outdated religious code of conduct (Shastras) and live dogmatically following the traditional lifestyle.

Those who followed the orthodoxy are favored and others are condemned they think they are going to get Moksha by doing this act. Their chosen path is meant for the ignorant populace with a sheepish mentality blindly accepting the inherited dogmas.
It is high time to stop judging who is right and who is wrong in this unreal world and instead spend the same time acquiring Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana to realize the world(samsara) is unreal the Brahman alone is real.
It is high time for the educated orthodox followers to realize their religion-based orthodox path was meant for the ignorant populace in the past, therefore, it is not suited for the modern mindset.

Religious moksha is based on the birth entity, whereas spiritual moksha is based on the unborn Soul, the ‘Self’.

The Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara can be summed up in the following statement: ~

Brahma Satyam, jaganmithya, jivobrahmaivanaparah ~ Brahman alone is real; the world is non-real, and the individual Self is essentially not different from Brahman.

That is why Sage Sankara: ~ VC~.63: "Without knowing and examining the external world, one can’t know the Truth, as the idea that the external world exists, won't go. It can go only by an inquiry into the nature of the external world.

Mundaka Upanishad 1.3:~ Complete knowledge includes knowledge of the phenomenal world, the spirit behind it, and the source of both of them. When the cause of all causes becomes known, then everything knowable becomes known, and nothing remains unknown is Gnana.”

Sage Sankara says the seeker must first know what is before him. If he cannot know that what else can he know or understand? If he gives up the external world in his inquiry, he cannot get the whole truth.

The interpretation of Sage Sankara's writings by commentators is often confusing because they mix up the two viewpoints. Thus, they may assert that ritual is a means of realizing Brahman, which is absurd.

Sage Sankara wrote his commentaries on Manduka commentary first, and then as this revealed that he thoroughly understood the subject, his Gurus requested him to write the commentary on Badarayana's Brahma Sutras, which was a popular theological work universally studied by Advaitins. That is why his commentary is written from a lower dualistic point, for those who cannot rise higher, save that here and there Sage Sankara occasionally has strewn a few truly Advaitic sentences.

Sage Sankara's commentary on the Brahma Sutras is not on a philosophical basis, but on an orthodox and mystic basis, with the appeal to the Vedas as a final authority.

In Brahma Sutra Sage Sankara takes the position that there is another entity outside us, i.e. the wall really exists separately from the mind. This was because Sage Sankara explains in Manduka that those who study the Sutras are orthodox minds, intellectual children, hence his popular viewpoint to assist them. These people are afraid to go deeper because it means being heroic enough to refuse to accept Sruti, and God's authority, in case they mean punishment by God. A Gnani says the scriptures are for children, but wise seekers will think rationally.

In Brahma Sutras Sage Sankara takes for granted, and assumes that a world was created: He mixes dogmatic theology with philosophy.

That God created the world is an absolute lie, nevertheless one will find Sage Sankara (in his commentary on Vedanta Sutras) clearly says this! He has to adapt his teachings to his audience, reserving the highest for philosophical minds.

The text of Brahma Sutras is based on religion, and dogmatism but in the commentary, Sage Sankara cleverly introduced some philosophy. If it is objected that a number of Upanishads are equally dogmatic because they also begin by assuming Brahman, only a few Upanishads do not, but prove Brahman at the end of a train of proof.

Scholars' translations of Brahma Sutras in Sacred Books of East must be read cautiously as he has not understood its highest sense, e.g. for Advaita, they wrongly put "Unity" instead of “Non-duality."

Sage Sankara gave religion scholasticism and yoga no less than philosophy, to the seeking world. He was great enough to be able to do so. His commentary on Manduka Upanishad is pure philosophy, but many of his other books are presented from a religious standpoint to help those who cannot rise up to philosophy.

Sage Sankara's commentary on Manduka Upanishad is pure philosophy, but many of his other books are presented from a religious standpoint to help those who cannot rise up to philosophy. North India is the home of mysticism and deification and South India of keen rational truth.

Sage Sankara says in Brahma Sutras~: “Brahman is the cause of the world, whereas in Manduka he denies it. This is because he says that at the lower stage of understanding, the former teaching must be given, for people will get frightened as they cannot understand how the world can be without a cause, but to those in a higher stage, the truth of non-causality can be revealed.

Sage Sankara varied his practical advice and doctrinal teaching according to the people he was amongst. He never advised them to give up their particular religion or beliefs or metaphysics completely; he only told them to give up the worst features of abuse: at the same time, he showed just one step forward toward the truth. Sage Sankara was extremely precise and careful in his choice of words.

Sage Sankara's basis of his Advaitic wisdom is either on reason independent of Shruti or on Shruti confirmed by reason."

Sage Sankara’s commentary on the Manduka Upanishad, II, 1: This (the unreality of duality) is borne out by the Struis ... But it is possible also to show the unreality of the object world even from pure reasoning, and this second chapter is undertaken for that purpose.

Sage Sankara gave religious, ritual, or dogmatic instruction to the ignorant populace but Advaitic wisdom only to the few who could rise to it. Hence, the interpretation of his writings by commentators is often confusing because they mix up the two viewpoints. Thus they may assert that ritual is a means of realizing Brahman, which is absurd.

Sage Sankara himself has warned us not to use ambiguous words, and to practice semantic analysis in his book "Definition of one's own ‘Self’. (Page 199, v.24 of "Sankara's Selected Works)

Sage Sankara says the seeker must first know what is before him. If he cannot know that, what else can he know or understand? If he gives up the external world in his inquiry, he cannot get the whole truth.

That is why Sage Sankara: ~ “VC~.63: "Without knowing and examining the external world, one can’t know the Truth, as the idea that the external world exists, won't go.

The orthodox Advaitic path is the path of ignorance and is meant for the ignorant crowd. Orthodoxy is the home of mysticism and deification which is why they are not the keen rational truth. Orthodoxy has to be discarded if you want Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom. The orthodox Advaitic path is based on ignorance. The buried wisdom has to be discovered by the seeker himself.

It takes time for the seeker to gain a perfect understanding of ‘what is the truth and ‘what is untruth’. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Advaita propagated by Sage Sankara is pure spirituality. Advaita is nothing to do with non-Vedic Advaitic orthodoxy.+

Sage Sankara was the Vedic Sage of universal order projecting him as a non-Vedic Guru is a great error.

Religious people attach the word Dharma to religion. But in the spiritual context, the Dharma is the Atman, the Self.

In Tattireya Upanishad:~ "satyaM vada. dharmaM cara ." Speak the truth, and practice dharma. Now if you want to practice dharma, you should first know what it means. (1.11.1)

The word, “dharma “is found in the karikas, which means Atma in Advaita Vedanta.

Advaita is the nature of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Sage Sankara belongs to whole humanity his Advaitic wisdom has nothing to do with religion and yoga because it is pure spirituality.

The Vedic truth is the pure spiritual truth. The essence of the Vedas is pure spirituality. Advaita propagated by Sage Sankara is pure spirituality. Advaita has nothing to do with non-~Vedic Advaitic orthodoxy, which is meant for the ignorant populace.

Sage Sankara himself declares: that Ataman is Brahman (God in truth) then why accept anything else as God other than Atman.

Sage Sankara says: ~ Ataman is Brahman. Thus, the Soul the ‘Self’ is God in truth. Therefore, all the Gods with form and attributes are mere imaginations based on the false ‘Self’. Thus, there is adulteration and add-ons in the past, which have to be bifurcated if one wants pure Vedic essence.

This clearly indicates the nature of the ‘Self’, which is the Soul. Thus, the Soul is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

When the Soul is the ultimate truth or God why indulge in worshiping the belief individualized God, which is not God in truth.

The Hindu belief system which came into existence after the 2nd century has nothing to do with the Vedas and Vedic religion or Santana Dharma.

The ultimate truth or Brahman is God. God in truth is not the religious God we believe and worship.

Understanding what is God is not so easy. Religious people can only imagine God based on their beliefs.

Vedic God is Atman. God in truth is the Soul, the ‘Self’. God in truth becomes the universe in waking and the universe becomes God in truth in deep sleep. The universe is nothing but an illusion created out of God in truth.

When you realize the ‘Self’ is not but the Self is the Soul, God then there is no second thing that exists other than the God, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Advaitic truth is very easy but it is most difficult to assimilate because of the inherited beliefs and accumulated knowledge.

Without dropping all the inherited beliefs and accumulated knowledge which is based on the illusory form, time, and space it is difficult to understand and assimilate the knowledge of the formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

If you have the courage of Bhagavan Buddha, who dropped religion, Vedas, and the concept of God then only you are fit to acquire ‘Self’-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

That is why Sage Sankara:~ VC~.61- For one who has been bitten by the serpent of Ignorance, the only remedy is the knowledge of Brahman. Of what avail are the Vedas and (other) Scriptures, Mantras (sacred formulae), and medicines to such a one?

VC- v6~ Let erudite scholars quote all the scripture, let Gods be invoked through sacrifices, let elaborate rituals be performed, let personal Gods be propitiated---yet, without the realization of one‘s identity With the ‘‘Self’’, there shall be no liberation for the individual, not even in the lifetimes of a hundred Brahmas put together

Sage Sankara goes on to say: ~A sickness of not cured by saying the word “medicine.” You must take the medicine.

A buried treasure is not uncovered by merely uttering the words: “Come forth.” You must follow the right directions, dig, remove the stones and earth from above it, and then make it your own. In the same way, the pure truth of the Atman, which is buried under Maya and the effects of Maya, can be reached by meditation, contemplation, and other spiritual disciplines but never by subtle arguments.

Only when you realize God in truth you will realize the universe is nothing but God because the universe is an illusion created out of consciousness. Consciousness is God in truth.

Advaita is Science of the Soul, which is the ultimate truth or Brahman. Sage Sankara’s wisdom is the universal truth and ultimate truth par excellence.

Advaita does not belong to any particular religion. It is not philosophy but Advaita is the truth of our true existence.

Advaita is the Science of Truth; the Atmic path is the path of spiritual liberation par excellence, wide and deep as the ocean which contains virtually all the water of the world and in which all particular forms ultimately dissolve.

Advaita is the Science of the Soul, which is the ultimate truth or Brahman. Sage Sankara’s wisdom is the universal truth and ultimate truth par excellence.

The Advaita is the Soul ~ the One without A Second

Advaita is the nature of the Soul. The Advaita is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness itself. The Advaita is the spiritual heart. The Advaita is Self-evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny the Advaita because It is the very essence of the one who denies It. The Advaita is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs.

Advaita is present in the form of consciousness and is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara is pure Spirituality. Spirituality or Adyathma is not meant for religious believers.+

My postings and blogs are meant only for those who are in the quest of the truth of their true existence.

My postings and blogs are pure Spirituality nothing to do with religion. Advaitic wisdom is pure Spirituality. Spirituality is not meant for religious believers because religion is based on the false self (ego) whereas Spirituality is based on the Soul, the Self.
Religious Gods have nothing to do with the Spiritual God. Religious God is belief whereas spiritual God is the Spirit. Spirituality has nothing to do with religion. If you want to realize God in truth then you have to discard all religious propagated beliefs and dogmas.

Vedic God is the spiritual God the Athma, which is the Spirit.
Even Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God in truth) is present in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.
There is a clear-cut idea of God in the Vedas, Upanishad, and Bhagavad Gita. And also there is a clear-cut idea of what not to worship as God in place of real God.

Bhagavad Gita: ~ “All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many Gods. (7- Verse -20)

What is God supposed to be in actuality?
“Where is God?”

People say God is everywhere, but they do not know because they are holding their religious propagated God based on blind faith or blind belief. The religious propagated God is limited to a particular religion, community sect, and creed cannot be universal.

The believers of other religions, community sects, and creeds will not accept any other God as their own other than their inherited accepted idea of God.
The world in which you exist is not separate from God because the world in which you exist is created out of God. God is not imagination whatever you think of God is imagination based on the false self (ego)within the false experience (waking state).
Ignorance makes you have the firm conviction you are an individual separate from the world and that the world existed prior to you being born in it afterward. Until this conviction is there, you will never be able to accept any other truth than the dualistic truth based on the false self (you).
It is necessary for the seeker of the truth to unfold the mystery of the ‘I’ by a perfect understanding of ‘what is what’
Do not believe in any Guru or any teaching. Do not search for God in this world in which you exist, religion, scriptures, holy books, ashrams, or mountain tops because ignorance hides God in truth.
A Perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ unfolds the mystery of God in truth hidden by the illusory universe or Maya.

Religious Gods are based on blind belief. Belief is not God. Religious God cannot be considered as the center because the Soul, the ‘Self’ is the center of all that exists.

Without the Soul the world in which you exist cases to exist, it means the religious Gods are dependent on the Soul for their existence. God in truth is only the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

In Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~ God IS Supreme Spirit.
Vedas and Upanishads confirm the Soul, the Self, is present in the form of the Spirit or consciousness.
Rig Veda: ~ The Atman (Soul or Spirit) is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

The Bible says: ~ God is a Spirit, and they that worship God must worship God in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)
The Spirit is the root element of the universe. The Spirit is present in the form of the Soul, the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. From the Spirit, the universe comes into existence. In the Spirit, the universe resides. And into the Spirit, the universe is dissolved. The Spirit is the parent of all that is there is.
That is why Sage Sankara said:~ Talk as much philosophy as you like, worship as many Gods as you please, observe ceremonies, and sing devotional hymns, but liberation will never come, even after a hundred aeons, without realizing the Oneness.
Bhagavad Gita: ~ ‘Brahmano hi pratisthaham’ ~ Brahman (God in truth) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).
When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.

Lord Krishna Says Ch ~V: ~ “Those who know the Self in truth.". The last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.
The dualistic worship of "God” is only for the ignorant populace. The God in truth is only Atman, the ‘Self’. In reality, there is no duality, no differentiation. Only Atman exists.

Lord Krishna confesses that the oldest wisdom of India (Advaita wisdom) has been lost: people misinterpret and falsify it today as they did then. It is not yoga but the philosophic truth. But nobody knows it. The teachers of philosophy and leaders of mysticism or religion do not want to inquire into truth and have no time for it. (Gita ~ Chap ~IV~ v.2)
There are different grades of mindset, which is unable to grasp God in truth. The Advaitic wisdom demands sharpness to grasp the truth which is beyond form, time, and space. Just sitting mindless and imagining you are seeing God keeps you in the prison of the dualistic illusion or Maya.
Realize the Soul, the Self is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth. The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness itself is God. Consciousness is the cause of the world in which you exist. And consciousness itself is uncaused.
Thus, the truth realization itself is God-realization because the ultimate truth is Brahman or God in truth. Self-realization is God-realization and God-realization itself is real worship. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Individual has the ego, which is wrongly identified as the mind. The mind is not an individual because the mind is the whole universe.+

Individual has the ego, which is wrongly identified as the mind. The mind is not an individual because the mind is the whole universe.

Deeper selfsearch reveals that the ego is the false self within the illusory universe.

All the accumulated egocentric knowledge is inadequate, or useless in unfolding the mystery of the mind or universe.
The ‘I’ is inborn samskara or conditioning, because of this inborn samskara or conditioning one has accepted the ‘I’ as the ‘‘Self’’, he is ignorant that the ‘I’ itself is the cause of ignorance.
Because of this ‘I’ he has accepted illusion as a reality. Therefore, there is a need to realize ‘What is this ‘I’?’ in actuality.
Without knowing ‘what is this ‘I’?’ in actuality it is impossible to unfold the hidden truth which is beyond form, time, and space.
Till you hold the ‘Self ‘as the ‘I’ you will never be able to get Self-realization. ‘I’ hides the Soul, which is the  Self. ‘

'I' is present in the form of the mind.

Know what is this 'I':~
'I’ is ignorance.
‘I’ is the duality.
‘I’ is the form, time, and space.
‘I’ is the universe.
‘I’ is the waking.
‘I’ is the dream.
‘I’ is the illusion.
‘I’ is the experience of birth, life, death, and the world.

Remember this:~

Without the 'I' there is no mind.
Without the ‘I’ there is no ignorance.

Without the ‘I’ there is no form, time and space
Without the ‘I’ there is no universe.
Without the ‘I’ there is no waking.
Without the ‘I’ there is no dream.
Without the ‘I’ there is no illusion.
Without the ‘I’ there is no experience of birth, life, death, and the world.
