Nothing has to be accepted as God other than the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Atman is Brahman means the Soul alone is God in truth. Atman is the Advaitic God. God in truth is Advaita.
Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God) is the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself’.
Sage Sankara proved the existence of Athma, which is Brahman or God in truth by declaring Atman, is Brahman.
Brahman is God. From the standpoint of Athma, the world is merely an illusion.
When Upanishads and Vedas declare that, God is the form of the Athma, and God is indeed Athma itself” then why accept another God in place of the Athma or worship other than the Athma.
Yajur Veda – chapter- 32: - God is Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. He cannot be seen directly by anyone. He pervades all beings and all directions.
Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.
Rig Veda: ~ The Atman (Soul or Spirit) is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the ‘Self’? May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)
It is for every seeker who is seeking truth must first know what God is supposed to be in actuality according to Vedas and Upanishads and reject all non-Vedic Gods to realize that Atman is the real God.
Bhagavad Gita Chapter: ~ “All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many Gods. (7- Verse -20)
Thus, it refers to a formless and attributeless God, which is the Atman, the ‘Self’ within the false experience.
Thus, it indicates clearly all the Gods with form and attributes are merely imaginations based on the false self. Thus Atman or Soul, the ‘Self’ is God in truth.
The truth is hidden by the universe, which is a dualistic illusion. The dualistic illusion is a veil on the Soul. The universe is nothing but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness because the universe is created out of consciousness.
By realizing the universe is nothing but the Soul, the Self, the hidden reality is exposed.
That alone is called ultimate truth or Brahman, which is a fact that can never be changed under any circumstances. One must make an effort to know the ultimate truth. The Soul is the ‘Self’. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.
Consciousness is hidden within the world in which we exist. There is nothing new to be acquired; only the seeker must be sharp enough to grasp understand and assimilate it when told about it.
There is a difference between understanding and realization. The effort is required for this understanding, whereas once understood no special effort is needed to realize it.
Generally, people only have an idea of the Soul, But once they thoroughly grasp what is the Soul they will realize the Soul is the cause of the world in which they exist and the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness is uncaused.
Consciousness is present everywhere and in everything in the world in which they exist because the world in which they exist is nothing but an illusion created out of consciousness. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
