Most of the Saints and the Sages of the past are mostly social reformers, thus they are more concerned about humanism rather than the truth. Their contribution is very valuable to live in the practical world.
Thus, humanism is part and parcel of the universe, which is merely an illusion.
People think love is the means to Self-realization, but they are unaware that love and hate are made of the same stuff. Love is not the means of Self–realization.
Love is very much necessary in practical life within the practical world. Love implies duality. Whatever belongs to the duality is a falsehood. Thus, love is a reality within the falsehood.
Lover and love cease to exist in non-dualistic reality because the experience of duality is not a reality.
The experience of the practical life within the practical world is a reality within the waking experience, but the waking experience itself is merely an illusion created out of consciousness.
Thus, lover and love are one in essence. Thus, the path of love is the religious path because religion is the path of individuality or duality.
Love, Lust, anger, and greed are part of the duality. From the ultimate standpoint, the duality is merely an illusion.
If the duality is merely an illusion, then the form, time, and space are merely an illusion.
If form, time, and space are merely an illusion, then the universe is merely an illusion.
If the universe is merely an illusion, then the three states are merely an illusion.
If the three states are merely an illusion, then the experience of birth, life, death, and the world is merely an illusion.
If birth, life, death, and the world are merely an illusion then the individualized god, heaven, hell, sin, and karma are part of the illusion.
Therefore, it is necessary to realize ‘what is the illusion’ and ‘what is the reality,’ to get freedom from falsehood (three states).
Love implies duality. Without the lover, there is no love.
Wherever there is duality, there is ignorance. Wherever there is ignorance, the illusion is experienced as a reality. Thus, the lover and the love are part of the illusion.
In reality, love, lover, and the world are one in essence. That essence is consciousness. The Soul, the Self, is present in the form of consciousness.
The Soul, the Self, is the ultimate truth. The ultimate truth is Brahman or God in truth.
When one becomes aware of the ultimate truth, then he sees that the Self or God (consciousness) pervades everything, everywhere in all the three states. Thus, it is necessary to realize the Soul, the Self or God is the lover and love together.
Thus, our conditioned love conditioned by physicality will not be able to recognize the unconditional love of the Soul, the Self.
The love within the physical existence (practical world) is precious in practical life.
Great Yoga master Paramahansa Yogananda and many other religious Sages prescribed unconditional love to humanity in the past.
Unconditional love is a very valuable tool for humanity which is immersed in practical life and the practical world. We have to respect every Sage for their service contribution to humankind.
The path of love & path of humanity, are limited to the practical life within the practical world.
The path of love and the path of humanity is the best tool to serve humankind within the practical life within the practical world, but the practical life within the practical world is merely an illusion or Maya.
Thus, life belongs to the illusion. In reality, the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, alone exists.
Gnani loves humanity in the practical world, but inwardly he is fully aware of the truth that the practical life within the practical world is merely an illusion from the ultimate standpoint.
Thus, the path of love should not be mixed with the path of wisdom because the path of love is based on duality, and the path of wisdom is based on non-duality.
Humanism is limited to practical life within the practical world. The path of love is the path for humanity therefore, it is an individualized path.
Thus, the path of love is limited to the physical structure, it cannot transport one to the ultimate end.
The seeker has to understand that, from the ultimate standpoint: practical life and the practical world are part of the dualistic illusion or Maya. :~Santthosh Kumaar
