The world is the same in the case of Gnani and in the case of the ignorant. The only difference between their bodies.
The world in which they exist is a dualistic illusion. The dualistic illusion is made of single clay. That sing clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The Soul is the Self.
From the standpoint of the Soul, the world is nothing but an illusion created out of consciousness.
Thus, it is necessary to realize the Self is not you but the Soul to realize the world in which you exist is nothing but consciousness.
Sage Goudapada’s rational exposition of Advaita: ~ “Whatever is seen, whether external or internal, whether by the ordinary persons or yogis, is unreal”.
A Gnani knows that there's neither unity nor plurality - the world is neither one nor many. Just as a piece of rope is mistaken for a snake, the Atman is mistaken for this diverse world.
Duality is an appearance and the non-dual Atman is the real truth.
The universe is not different from the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness because the universe is made of consciousness.
Thus, consciousness alone is real and all else (the universe) is merely an illusion.
Thus, the illusion is not different from consciousness, which is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.
The Soul or the consciousness appears as the diverse universe and is only an illusion. If it really became diverse, then the immortal would become mortal.
The dualist’s thinkers, who seek to prove the origination of the unborn, by that very enterprise try to make the immortal, mortal.
Ultimate nature can never change - the immortal can never become mortal and vice versa
.
There's no plurality in the nature of the Soul"; consciousness appears to be many”; "those who are attached to creation or production or origination are in ignorance because their approach is more practical, and they are stuck with the reality of the universe (waking) take it as real.
The dualist thinkers’ arguments are based on false Self (ego or waking entity) and false experience (mind or waking or dream or universe) to show the weakness of the position of the dualistic standpoint. They are at their wits end to explain. ~Santthosh Kumaar
